New patients, first consultations
What can you expect at your first visit in our clinic? After the welcome, you are asked to answer a brief health questionnaire about your general health condition and in particular about the condition of your feet.
We will ask you for input about:
- Allergies to medications, allergies in general
- Current medication
- Surgeries performed
- Rheumatic, metabolic diseases…
- Reason for your consultation and your podiatric history
In compliance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679, General Data Protection Regulation, and Organic Law 3/2018, of December 5, on Personal Data Protection and Guarantee of Digital Rights, we inform you that, before proceeding with the processing of your personal data, we will provide you with all necessary information about our data protection policy, as well as about the protocols implemented to ensure the security and adequate preservation of your clinical information.
If your first visit is related to a biomechanical problem, after completing the health questionnaire, the biomechanical assessment and computerized gait analysis is performed. This will take around ¾ to 1 hour.
For a better understanding of the pathology it is important that you have all related medical reports as well as all imaging tests (X-rays, MRI, ultrasound) for disposal.
If you are diabetic, we will assess as well the general vascular and neurological status of your feet, ending the visit with a chiropody treatment. This will take around 1 hour.
